Wonderful trip

We have had such a wonderful time in Nauvoo and Branson. It was so great to see Elder Johnson and watch him perform and open his new mission call to Nicaragua. The pagent was out standing. It was really a spiritual high for us in Nauvoo. We got to do our family names for an endowment and baptisms in the Temple and I got some more genealogy. We stopped in Springfield and saw my cousins Richard Jarvis for a few minutes. In Branson I began to realise that it was successful because they catter to the good people of this country.
We are in St Louis airport now with a delay of 1 hour in our flight to Phx. Love you all, Janath

Nauvoo!

We're having a great time here in Nauvoo. I've attached a few photos for your enjoyment. They include a shot of Elder Johnson opening his call in the Seventies Hall. There were about 40 people there. It was pretty darn cool...

There is also a shot of him on stage during High Hopes and River Boats with the rest of the cast. We wish you all were with us! The weather has been great. The shows have been fun. We'll keep you updated...

Havasupai

Nick, Nolan, Nevin and I just returned this week from Havasupai. Those of you who don't know what that is, ask your parents and they will relate stories from the past that will amaze and astound you...

We hiked down on Tuesday morning early (instead of Monday night) and hiked back out on Thursday morning. Nevin had to push me all the way to the top... It was fun!!!

Tis I!

Hey family!
All is well here in Nauvoo. Its been an interesting week for sure! The pageant rehearsals just started so Im getting overly stressed with my schedule! Its good for me though. I love the extra exercise. Dad already knows, but Nauvoo has had some trouble with a hidden arsonist recently. He burned down the wagon ride cabin on Monday and some benches near the quarry and part of the womens garden behind the visitors center. They havent caught him yet but he has been quiet for two days so we will see what happens. They say this happens a lot around pageant time. No worries! Im safe! Its been an interesting week, for certain! Being a missionary rocks! I love you all and cant wait to see those who are visiting! Keep smiling!

love you all

Well our first family blog I hope and pray it works well that we can all share love and kindness with each other and our ups and downs of life here on this earth. Here on July first I am having a ball visiting with all these children and getting hugs and just talking with them. They are each one so wonderful and smart and good looking and just plain fun. Heavenly father has been so kind to me. We watch them sing and dance and perform in a play all on CD it is wonderful to see these new inventions that show off their tallents and the things heavenly father has blessed us with. Love Janath

Nick Performs with Jericho Road

On Friday, June 29th, Nick performed with the Ambassadors of Light as an opening act for Jericho Road. During the concert, one of the Jericho Road performers left the stage. At that point, they wanted to perform the New Testament Rap. However, the cast member that does the beat boxing for them had left the stage. So, they asked for a volunteer. About half the audience started chanting Nick's name. He went up on stage and "auditioned" for the part. He passed the audtion and was put to work beat boxing for them. This photo is him on stage with three members from Jericho Road performing the "New Testament Rap."
